Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

HEARTBEAT

Transcript: What is HEARTBEAT? Electricity keeps the heart beating. The heartbeat, and so the heart rate, is regulated by the natural pacemaker of the heart. Thank You! HEARTBEAT HEART RATE Naddya Abdullah PTM160118804 What is a Normal Heart Rate? noun: the pulsation of the heart a single pulsation of the heart (her heartbeats steadied) an animating or vital unifying force (conflict is the essential heartbeat of fiction) How does the heart keep beating? The heart rate shoots up dramaticall in response to adreline, preparing us for a "fight or flight" reaction. Adrenaline is a hormone, also known as epinephrine. Being frightened or suprised automatically makes the heart rate higher via adrenaline, preparing us to use more oxygen and energy in the fight or flight reaction. The natural pacemaker is called the sinoatrial (SA) node - it is made up of special cells that create an electrical impulse, making the heart muscle contract and pump blood. The natural pacemaker is a part of the heart's cardiac conduction system - the electrical system of the heart The electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) gives readings of the electrical impulse as it spreads from the top to the bottom of the heart. The heart rate isone of our vital signs- it is the number of times a minute that our heart contracts or beats. Heart rate varies - we have a resting heart rate, which does exactly what it says on the tin: it is the rate at which our heart beats when we are relaxed. Our heart rate goes up with exertion- the purpose of which is to deliver more oxygen and energy for the activity. 62 ECG bpm

Transcript: By: Emily Moto This book is about 2 friends who both like the same girl and there both trying to impress her but one will not get her . And one of the friends gets a virus and they had a heart disease when they were little but never knew. And they stick together until he feels better but it's not working because he's getting weaker and weaker every day. But something interesting happens in the end. In my opinion Heartbeat was an amazing book because it showed the true meaning of friendship of how two people could risk their lives for one another and how they could stick together as friends till senior year. I recommend for you guys to read it in class because it's about love and friendship. And it has lots of drama and action going on in this book and its just a great book if you want to read something over the summer. I love how Todd sticks by Amos side when he's sick in the hospital and he won't let Amos stay alone in his room. Also i love how Amos risked his life just for Todd that just shows they will do anything for one another and how strong their relationship is. Overall this book is just a great book to read you'll never put it down because every page has something so interesting and shocking. Characters Theme In the book HeartBeat there is a guy named Todd who jump off the board and landed hard in the pool. And his friend Amos jumped in and he didnt know how to swim but he did it anyways since thats what friends do. Luckily Todd survived and he told Amos he'll do anything for him for what he did for Amos. So one day Amos saw this hot looking girl Hiliary and told Todd that he wanted him to introduce him to her and Todd was scared too but he made a deal. So Todd went in the mechanic shop and started talking to her and told her about Amos. Ever since they talked for the first time they started hanging out more and they started having feelings for each other but Todd didnt want to tell Amos becuase he didnt want him to break his friends heart. But one day the doctors told everyone that amos had a bad heart diease and theirs no way to cure it. When Todd heard about it he gave hiliary up so he would feel better and Hilary agreed. After awhile amos got weaker and weaker so he didnt make it and Todd was mostly hurt and his life never was the same. Todd: Has green eyes, blond hair and every girl likes him because the girls made a club about him. He's caring and jealous because he takes care of Amos when he's in the hospital and also he's always mad when Amos and Hilary are together Amos: Has brown eyes, dark brown hair. He's loyalty because he risked his life for Todd and He's also Strong because he's fighting a heart diease and never giving up. Hilary: Has blond hair and blue eyes and Todd and her are dating but Amos thinks him and her are dating. She's caring because she really cares about both guys and cant choose between them. Jen: Has blond hair and wears pigtails. She really likes Todd and is the leader of the club. She's crazy because she stalks todd at school and todd and her pretend to be friends just to make her friends jealous. Review Summary The main theme is loyalty because Amos was loyal to Todd when he saved him when he jumped off a board into a pool and got severely injured when he broke his two arms. Even though Amos couldn't swim he still jumped in the pool and risked his life for Todd. And Todd was loyal to Amos for getting Hilary to like him and actually talking to him since he owned it to Amos. Another themes were trust, betrayal, illness and compassinate. The issue of trust and betrayal was both Todd and Hilary were dating in the beginning of the story without telling Amos because they didn't want to hurt him. Illness was a big theme of the story because Amos caught a virus and previously had a heart disease that was discovered with this virus but it never changed Amos at all. Another theme was compassionate because both of them stopped dating so Amos could date Hilary and make him feel better. Heartbeat
