Close Proximy of Buildings Makes it easier for students to get to class Form a stronger sense of community. Negative Characteristics - Weather conditions Cold winters and frequent rainfall Academics Challenging courses and competitive environment Lack of minor programs, restricting students who want to explore new interests opinions Opnions Benson's Last Opnions Benson Since Yale University is in close proximy to where I live, I would like to visit and better understand their campus life and programs. However, I would not select Yale as one of my college choices. Eventhough they offer programs that I am interest in, like biology and medicine, I don't think i can handle the workload and competition. I would also like to attend a smaller college where there is a tighter sense of community. Karen's Last opnions Karen Yale is not too far from home so that is always a positive for me. However, this is an ivy league School so it will be competitive. I will consider applying because of the great law school there there in addition to the joint degree program they offer with it. Meanwhile, it is too expensive for my taste so that puts it lower on my list as I don't want o have too much student debt.
