Current on-campus jobs Sixty upper class student Gateways mentors are hired annually by the First Year Program. Residence Life hires more than 100 student resident hall assistants each year. Approximately 20 students are employed each term as tutors in the Academic Center for Excellence. The Saunders Writing Center employs 14 student tutors each semester. The Office of Admissions hires many students each year as public relations assistants and tour guides. Officers of Student Government and Student Productions receive stipends for their leadership in these organizations. The editors of the Minaret (campus newspaper), Moroccan (yearbook) and Quilt (literary magazine) receive stipends to manage key student-run publications. The Office of Campus Recreation depends on many students during late afternoon and evening hours to assist in the many programs and services offered.
