I thought that when a baby takes it's first breath outside the womb it then clarified as a person. That was my own personal argument. I didn't applaud abortion at all though. If you got pregnant, it was your own fault. Go to a local drug store and get a condom, they give them out for free. When I thought an abortion was okay is when a women gets raped and gets pregnant. It wasn't her choice to engage in sexual activity. After thoroughly researching this topic I have changed my view completely I think... When looking at imaged of little babies, tiny little babies being ripped apart by an abortion my heart ached. If the operation was more humane maybe I would still be Pro-Choice, but when researching I could remember when my 8th grade Math teacher had a miscarriage and how devastated she was, and now after researching and finding that 21% of people have an abortion because the baby is going to be incontinent to them it enrages me. It's the woman's own fault for becoming pregnant, own up to it and face the facts, there is always adoption for couples who do not have the gift of welcoming their own child to the world. I am a feminist, and totally for Woman Power, but I think now abortions are being used as the easy way out of a mistake of a young teenage girl. So, as Doctor Suess said in Horton Hears A Hoo.... This video lets the us take a look in how safe abortion clinics are. Planned Parenthood helps young women who have decided to get an abortion. In 2010 Bei Bei Shuai was pregnant and alone. She swallowed rat poison trying to commit suicide. Instead of killing herself, she killed her unborn child. Shaui did not get sent to a mental clinic, she was charged with murder of the 8 week old fetus. In 2013 she pleated guilty to criminal recklessness after spending more then a year in jail.
