The Mariana Trench is the deepest point in the ocean at 36,000 feet deep. The largest animal on Earth, the blue whale, lives in the ocean. Transcript: First of all one thing that absolutely everyone knows is that salt water can be found in oceans or different seas because a long time ago were we leave now there used to be loads of water and there was about 50% more water in the oceans. You can find salt water in the seas including Atlantic ocean and pacific ocean and different oceans which everyone knows that and in all the oceans except probably lakes and you may find 40% more salted water in swamps. Firefighters have about 100% chances taking out fire with salt water with a hose and that is because salt water has 40% more salt than water in oceans. There is a really big amount of salt water than fresh water which makes a lot of sense because there are a lot of oceans with salt water and some swamps maybe lakes have way more salt than water in lots of country's. There are two kinds of water: salt water and fresh water. Salt water contains great amounts of salt, whereas freshwater has a dissolved salt concentration of less than 1%. Only fresh water can be applied as drinking water. There is the same amount of water on earth as there was when the earth formed. The overall amount of water on our planet has remained the same for about two billion years. In a 100-year period, a water molecule spends 98 years in the ocean, 20 months as ice,about 2 weeks in lakes and rivers and less than a week in the atmosphere Salt Water

Transcript: Well study shows that 40% of the oceans have been impacted by humans from the trash that humans leave in the ocean and oil spills that hurt the sea creatures also because of fishing when some fish they can leave bad things in the ocean and fishing can lead to large extinction rates.But this particlar animal is the sea horse they do face these same problems as any other animal does there are natural preditors out there like crabs and such but weather is also a huge problem for them weather can change rapidly and some seahorses die from exhaustion if they travel too long.Another problem is that they are very heavily hunted in places such as china whitch are used for pets herbal medicine and are traded in places of indonesia some biotic an abiotic factor in the ocean are the temperature and nutrients seahorses like to live in tropical warm places but it is hard to find places for them to live and stay for a long time with wheather changes they cant just go and move somewhere else very fast lots of seahorses die of exhaustion plus if they do find a safe enviroment they have to find other seahorse species to populate but that will be hard and the population of seahorses will be spread out and they wont be able to come together and multiply there are all different sorts of ecosystems and each ecosystem has its own food chain and what each other organism provides for each other to get nutrients but if one of the species dies then the other organism will have no food some will starve and the other half will find some other food to find put that food might already have a species feeding and relying on it so they will have to fight for food and that will end to more dieing and starvation This will impact the future by understanding how we are hurting the ecosystem not just our other animals ecosystem but ours as well if we hurt other living enviroments it can take a toll on us too we live by these species and we cannot neglect them we have to protect them and find a way too still be able to use it the way we do but not to over power it or get out of hand we need to understand that it is hurting everyone and everything when we litter fish and other things it is unhealthy and we need to stop and think how it might affect the eviroment How have organisms and resources adapted or changed because of this impact influence How have human impacted this environment ? Transcript: Whats the difference between fresh water and salt water fish? About 70% of earth is salt water. Salt water is 98% of earths water, fresh water is the other 2%. There is 326,000,000,000,000,000,000 gallons of salt water on earth. (326 million trillion gallons) Salt water is very important. It carries most of earths animals. It is most of earths surface and water. Without salt water we would have tons of empty areas. What type of fish live in salt water? Some fish that live in salt water is the Atlantic Blue Tang. It changes colors between juvenile and adult stages. Another fish is the Butterfly Fish. They have small round body's and concave foreheads. Salt water fish were genetically born with salt-secretion which filter the salt out of the water. Freshwater fish don't have these glands. There are some fish who can survive in freshwater and saltwater such as a salmon. These are referred to stenohaline by scientists. Transcript: Today Jen is going to go swimming with the dolphins. She got a free 2hr dolphin swim with her airfare ticket. They will go to the captivity cages where they keep the dolphins and she will get with a trainer and swim with them. The total cost of this day is around 30$ becuase of the food cost. This benefits Jen because she now has the experience and memory of simming with dolphins in the Bahamas. Day 3 Day 2 Today Jen will be going fishing. She doesn't have a boat, so she has to fish of the bank and she will eventually wade into the water as the day gets warmer. This is beneficial becuase Jen catches a variety of fish and can study them on how some are bgger than others, and then some are more colorful than others. Jen can loo forward to being able to catch a fish and the eat it for dinner that night.This activity will not cost money because she brought a fishing-pole and will catch minows for bait. For Jens Salt water experience she will be on the shores of the Bahamas. Fresh water For Jens freshwater adventure she will be going camping on the Meramec river in Steelville Missouri. Lodging Day 2 Day 3 Lodging Day 2 Today Jen will Be scuba diving in the coral reef off the coast of the Bahamas. She is going to be documenting the number of strafish. She will be taking pictures of each starfish she comes across and when sh gets back to te motel she is going to document it in the Sea water section of her book. Jen benefits from thsi experience becuase she will acquire knowledge of the organisms that thrive in coral reefs. THis activity adds up to be around 150$ becuase it's an all day thing. Jen gained a lot of experience from this activity. Lodging Day 3 Jen will be staying at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island. She will be staying there for 2 nights and 3 days. It will cost her $1,007 for a round trip ticket. Se will be paying $157.28 per night to stay in the deluxe towers in the waterview room. Jen has chose this accomodation becuase as a kid she had always wanted to go to the Atlantis resort and be able to look of the beutiful bay of the ocean. The total cost of her airfare and lodging accomodations adds up to be $1,342.94. Her total cost of her trip after activities, food, and more will add up to be Jen will be styaing on the river bank of the river Meramec river in Steelville, Missouri. She will be staying in a tent that was given to her. Jen has chose this accomodation because she wants be right next to the ecosystem she is going to be enjoyging and she think sit will help her understand it more. She will not have to pay for lodging, bu twill have to pay for food. The total coast of the trip adds up to be Jen will be staying at a family friends ranch in Uvalde Texas. She will sleep in one of many guest rooms they provide and she will not pay for lodging or food expenses. Jen has chose this accomodation because she gets to see her family freinds and if she doesn't have to pay for it why go out ofthe way and pay for a hotel and food. Also, all her activities will be on the farm, and if she stay sin the farm house she is rigth there evry morning o start her day. Her flight, roundtrip, will be $700. Her total cost of the trip including activities and airfare adds up to be Day 1 Today Jen will be cutting and bailing hay with everyone who lives and works at the ranch. She is is looking forward to getting a tan because of the fact that she will be in the sun all day. This is a beneficial experience because Jen know knows the diferent typesof grasses that are all involved with producing and marketing hay. Today Jen will be exploring the ranch with her best friend that lives here. They will ride around the four-wheeler that they own and look at nature. Jens friend needs help counting cows. Jen takes her notebook with her all the time she wrote down the life of a cowgirl and how her and her friend had to count the herd of cows. Jen will put this in her book along with th types of trees and the difference in the grasses she acknowledged. Jen looked forward to seeing a cow for the first time, she was amused by how big, yet gentle the animal was. Today's activity doesn't cost Jen anything. Ecosystem Itinerary Today Jen will be going to the waterpark section of atlantis. Scientifically there isnt much benefit except the benefit of her havimg fun today. The cost is around $50 for one day at the waterpark. SHe will swim, ride rides, and admire the wonderful Bahaman air. Jen looks forward to riding the big slide that goes under the wat of where the dolphins stay. Today Jen wll have a relaxed laid back day. She is going to go swimming and just hangout in the shallow part of the river. Jen will probably try ou tthe rope swing that is hung from a tree there also. Today is bemeficial because as Jen sits in the water she will notice that tadpole(baby frogs) will swim around her and then minows will nibble on her skin. Jen was scared of the minows at first, but relaizes it tickels and doesn't hurt. Jen can look forward to
