Use powder to absorb liquids or oils. (supplied by store manager's office) Clean or mop up any spill as soon as they happen. Sweep up any broken glass. Sweep in the bulk area often to prevent slips and falls. • Stabilize the box or item. • Keep your fingers out of the cutting path. • Always cut away from your body. • Always keep your box cutter blade sharp. (Dull knives do much more damage than sharp ones.) •Always retract the blade when not in use. Box Cutter Techniques: Cart Safety: uh ohh!! Dispose of the broken glass in the "Broken Glass" only bin. - or - Place directly into dumpster. Do not put broken glass in any other receptacles. 6. Lastly clean floor with wet white towel.
