Consultation Working with others MYATT'S FIELDS PARK PROJECT Structure - new playground with water play - renovated historic features such as the bandstand and roundhouse - a new wildlife area - a new café - renovated depot buildings to provide meeting rooms and offices - questionnaires - events - weekend away with Glasshouse - Brixton People's Kitchen - Loughborough Estate groups - KidsCo - Streetscape - schools, art colleges, artists MFPP as a delivery organisation: Background: - Horticultural volunteering and training in the greenhouse - A food programme offering opportunities for people to cook and eat together - An events programme including pancake day, summer fair, sleepover, Harvest Festival, Big Draw, carol concert and Christmas market - A café run as a social enterprise offering employment, community cohesion and training - London Borough of Lambeth - small Victorian listed park opened in May 1889, designer Fanny Wilkinson - area of acute depriviation -bad housing conditions - many cultures - 150 languages spoken, British white population 39%
