Family makes sacrifices for one another, family doesn't exclude anyone out, family steps out of their comfort zone to make the people they love happy. Leadership is family, leadership wants to make the world a better place and keep the people in our community and world safe and happy. Beyond the Schoolhouse Door So far the best memory I have from high school is the Sophomore skit I participated in this year. The skit enabled me to become closer to so many new people and feel more involved with my school. Leaders in the Community I am the type of person that doesn't like to follow others around, I like to be known. At first that's hard for me to do, but as I get more comfortable I can become a leader. I can't just stop though when I know I am at my highest peak, I want to reach further. I know when my job isn't finished I can't just live on knowing that it hasn't been finished. I like to finish what I start. Lastly, I care about others. In my right mind I know I am grateful for the things I have in my life because I know others don't have what I have. That's why it is in my future to work for those that are in need of help from others. School Spirit I am very dedicated to the Granada Basketball program, and being this dedicated has given me opportunities to reach out and help our community. I have helped with CYO tryouts and organizing the elementary and middle school basketball programs. Helping out with this has made me feel like a true leader. Especially at CYO tryouts. I ran a couple of certain age group tryouts and it has made me realize how much those kids depended on me. I was the leader, they were looking at me for what to do next. Definitely being apart of the basketball program has given me opportunities to be more involved with the people in our community. Caught in the Moment Granada leadership has been an amazing experience for me. I have been able to sort through the merchandise and contribute to the selling and designing of Granada's spirit items. Granada Leadership has given me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and contribute more to my school with either advertising events or setting up events. I have learned through leadership that even when you think your job is done, there is always more room to help other people who aren't completely finished. I Aspire to be the Best Version of Myself My family is by far the best thing I have in my life. They have showed me to be strong even if I think life couldn't get worse. They have showed me to respect everyone around me because I have no idea what they are going through. My friends bring out the best in me, they inspire me to do great things and not care what others think. The Best Thing About Me Quotes I Live By A Walk Down Memory Lane My coach Steve has been a huge difference in my life. He was not just a coach to me, he treated my team and I like family the first day he met all of us. He is always so respectful to everyone he meets, and goes out of his way to make sure others are happy and safe. He goes out of his way to help others, no matter what he is going through. He works hard everyday for not just his family, but for all the people involved in his life. To me this phrase means to have great power requires you to make the right decisions in the use of that power. Granada Leadership exemplifies this because we are the leaders of our school, we were the ones that were let into this class. We have the privilege to be Granada's leaders, and as the leaders we need to show that we deserve to be a part of this elective and show that we deserve to be the ones that contribute to making this school a better place. 1.) "If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right." -Henry Ford I admire this quote because you can't do anything in this world if you don't believe you can do it. 2.) "Effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked; leadership is defined by results not attributes." -Peter Drucker I admire this quote because in the end it isn't about who likes you, it's about whether you finished what you were supposed to finish. 3.) "Don't find fault, find a remedy." -Henry Ford I admire

Transcript: More on Auschwitz Annotated bibliography On 9 September 1944 for example, 775 wristwatches and 550 pocket watches were sent from Chelmno to the Lodz ghetto administration. Much clothing was stained with dirt and blood. Some still had the Jewish stars attached. Many people in Germany must surely therefore have been aware of the fate of the Jews. After undressing, the people were brought downstairs again, to a corridor whose walls carried signs such as, "to the bath" and "to the doctor". There the SS told the Jews that they had to enter a lorry which would take them to the baths. Pieces of soap were given to the people. Three Poles, who were probably sentenced to death, hit the Jews with whips if they did not get into the gas van fast enough. On the way to the Waldlager one day the back doors opened suddenly and some corpses fell out. Since that day this corner was called "Corner of Death". The death rates at chelmno was 300,000.
