Set these 10 minutes apart. The mixture starts to foam when the yeast becomes active. Mix the yeast mixture with the butter, flour, eggs and the rest of the sugar into a sticky dough. Knead the dough a little further on a lightly floured surface. Then place the dough in an oil-greased bowl. Cover the bowl with a tea towel and let it rise for about 45 minutes until it has doubled in volume. Knead the dough on a floured surface until it feels smooth and elastic. Roll out the dough to a piece about 1 centimeter thick. Cut out the donuts with the round cutters and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cover the plate with a tea towel or kitchen foil and let it rise for 30 minutes. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. We set the frying pan at 180 degrees. Bake the donuts golden brown on both sides. Drain them on kitchen paper. After baking it is time to provide them with a sweet layer of icing, chocolate, cinnamon sugar or something else tasty. Below the three variants that we made.
