However, some templates may cost more money depending on the complexity of the game. Classroom Games that Make Test Review and Memorization Fun! (n.d.). The, decide and create a series of questions that are to be asked during the game. 3. By hyper linking certain answers to different slides, the game jumps from slide to slide while playing the game. 4. This kind of setup is normally seen as a simple quiz show game. Example of a Wheel of Fortune Template https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Wheel-of-Riches-PowerPoint-Template-Plays-Just-Like-Wheel-of-Fortune-383606 Games can be made in order to make a fun and easy way to learn. Popular game templates include: Family Feud Millionaire Jeopardy and other quiz shows. http://www.free-power-point-templates.com/deal-powerpoint-template/ Quick video on template "Millionaire" PowerPoint Games Some games are easier to make compared to others If users are unsure whether or not downloading certain templates is safe, you can actually make your own game by just simply using PowerPoint. add logo here References Example of a Family Feud Template PowerPoint Games are a great way to introduce new concepts and ideas You can create a fun, competitive atmosphere with the use of different templates You can change and rearrange information to correlate with the topic or idea being discussed. Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Osteoarthritis

Transcript: OSTEOARTHRITIS Defect/Abnormality: Osteoarthritis causes the bones to enlarge and this occurs over the outermost joints of the fingers which are also known as Heberdan's nodes. Osteoarthritis also causes overgrowth of the bones over the middle joints of the fingers which are also known as Bouchard's nodules. There is also swelling of surrounding tissues but the joints between the fingers, hand, and the wrist are mainly not affected. With osteoarthritis the middle joints or the joints involved can possibly become misaligned. Along with these osteoarthritis also causes loss of cartilage. In the end osteoarthritis leads to structural or functional failure of your joints whether it is 1 of them or more. Causes of defect/abnormality: The swelling, pain, and in some cases the formation of cysts on the finger joints causes the enlarged bones and also the overgrowth of the bones over the middle joint, it also causes involved joints to become misaligned more specifically the outermost joints. The loss of cartilage is how the bone cysts begin to form, when the cartilage is repairing itself after the loss, the bone remodels and the underlying bone hardens which is also called the subchondral causing the bone cysts to form. How does it affect our body? This defect/abnormality leads to structural or functional failure of your joints whether it is one of your joints or more than one. It affects the system it belongs to greatly because it involves the entire joint which includes the nearby muscles, underlying bone, ligaments, joint lining which is also called synovium, as well as the joint cover or more specifically the capsule. There are specific joints which affect the body in general including the fingers, hip, knees and spine. The system it affects or the body in general will experience stiffness, pain and/or difficulty moving the joint/joints. Treatments: Pain relievers can be taken to relief pain one of them include acetaminophen which you can get over the counter. NSAIDs or COX-2 would be the second option after acetaminophen and these are prescribed. Beyond the pain relievers the last option would be surgery which would relieve the pain as well as improve function. Arthroscopy is one type of surgery, the inside of a joint is examined using a small camera called an endoscope which repairs joints by replacing them with artificial materials, generally metal or plastic. Arthrodesis is surgery of the bony ends of a joint to prevent pain by stopping joint movement and Chondroplasty is surgery which repairs the cartilage loss associated with osteoarthritis.

Osteoarthritis

Transcript: Osteoarthritis Done by: Irving Sanchez What is "Osteoarthritis"? The most common form of arthritis. Usually occurs after middle age. It is the wear and tear, type of arthritis. a firm, elastic, flexible type of connective tissue of a translucent whitish or yellowish color; gristle. The Pain... Through time cartilage between any joint can wear out and as a result the bones rub against each other, causing pain, swelling, and stiffness. Luckily, Osteoarthritis only affects the joint, where as rheumatoid arthritis and other forms, can affect organs. Diagnosing Osteoarthritis The simplest way to diagnose Osteoarthritis is an X-Ray, to check loss of cartilage. Arthrocentesis: Performed in the doctor's office. Joint fluid is used for analysis. Arthroscopy: Surgical technique, which inserts a viewing tube, to examine the joint space. Treatment for Osteoarthritis has two main goals. To make the joints as least painful as possible. And to maintain joint function. Treatment is very simple. Rest, exercise, diet control with weight reduction, physical and occupational therapy. And for the more severe cases, aspirin and acetaminophen. Facts: Osteoarthritis is more common in women, then men Greater wieght, puts you at more risk to Osteoarthritis Arthritis affects people in all age groups including nearly 300,000 children Bibliography: Questions or Comments? *Cartilage: Last resort is surgery... Treatment It occurs when *cartilage in your joints wears down over time. Caution Following Image is gross! "Handout on Health: Osteoarthritis." Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Home Page.
