In pursuit of this, it will foster activities and events which will enhance the University experience of its members and contribute to the life of the University as a whole. Further, it will seek to facilitate communication between the students body, the University and other organizations and will organize and regulate students self-government." -MSU Constitution, Section II For the first time ever, the MSU made a direct pre-budget submission to the Provincial government this year. The submission was based off edYOUcation Week, and focused on: Coops, internships Student-centred learning Increases in teaching-focused faculty Improved Media The MSU takes pride in being the campus expert in the needs of students Planned new student entrepreneurship space in "MARC" at McMaster Innovation Park In an organization with annual turnover, training is one of the most important things we do. Students were to design a hotel bar/restaurant, focusing on design style and implementing a Klise Manufacturing trim package. This student design placed 1st in the competition.
