Students were to research MSU’s current facilities, as well as leading facilities around the United States, to determine what was needed at MSU. Leading, innovative designs, encompassing sustainable and universal design, were important components to the project. MSU IM Circle Renovation Student Example Competition sponsored by IIDA-Michigan and Klise Manufacturing. Students were to design a hotel bar/restaurant, focusing on design style and implementing a Klise Manufacturing trim package. This student design placed 1st in the competition.
