Merry Christmas
Transcript: We expect that this next year will be full of many changes. We are looking forward to the future with hope and excitement. At this wonderful time of year where we have the opportunity to spend time with those we love and celebrate the birth of Christ, we hope this card finds you and your family well. Dear Loved Ones, Seth has been working to finish his bachelor's degree in Microbiology at Brigham Young University and expects to graduate in June. In addition to his classes, he has been working as a teaching and research assistant for Brother Alford in Church History and Doctrine. He also enjoys working for the BYU Cancer Research Center as a laboratory assistant. Outside of school, he has spent his time shadowing doctors and finishing his medical school applications. While he has applied to a handful of schools, he wants to attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Pennsylvania. Recently, he was excited to receive an invitation to interview at LECOM and hopes to begin school there in late July. In addition to school and work, Seth has been serving as a counselor in the Elder's Quorum Presidency. As always, he enjoys having the excuse to teach lessons on Sunday. This year has been a busy one for our little Carter Family. We came back from a wonderful vacation in the Netherlands at the beginning of the year and started right in to another semester of school. It seems that life has not slowed down since. Chantelle has been working on her Master of Public Health degree at Brigham Young University. Her studies took her to Washington, D.C. and San Francisco for various conferences. She has been working with the Utah County Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Treatment, especially focusing on preventing the issues associated with youth alcohol consumption. She expects to finish her project early in 2013 and graduate with her MPH in April. She is enjoying her calling as the primary pianist where she gets to see the children learn and share their testimonies about our Savior, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas! Love, Seth and Chantelle Carter
