Transcript: Nicholas Perez My goal for this internship was to create and manage a 3-on-3 basketball intramural with a minimum of 7 teams that taken place on Sundays at the REC Center. 10 teams volunteered and we had an successful season. My role in this organization was to assist the Intramural Program Director with Intramurals Johnson & Wales University … an exceptional education that inspires professional success and lifelong personal and intellectual growth. From leadership to management it all ties in. Understanding at least all the basics of the coursework given in this University is very helpful to perform in the real world. The idea for this facility began with a meeting between Johnson & Wales University, the architectural firm of Robinson, Green, Beretta Corp., and Agostini Construction in December, 1997. Within the next ten months, this state-of-the-art facility was both designed and built. For the first time in its history, Johnson & Wales could actually host a home game. It is now cooperating with the Arab Bank Invest in Jordan. Display a positive perspective about finance and investing with assets. Increase awareness among others in Palestine to invest so the economy can develop. Have a plan laid out for my future so i can remain on track. I was mainly motivated to join finance by the economic conditions here in Palestine. Finance is highly demanded almost anywhere in the world which means more availability of jobs. The subjects finance incorporates attract my attention. I was also highly motivated by my uncle who keeps updating me with the benefits of becoming a financial analyst. Moreover, the environment that surrounds it makes me feel confident. The internship took place in Arab Bank Invest. It is located in Ramallah Al Tahta above the Arab Bank-Palestine. The most important aspect i search for is comfort. The AB Invest is a place that would provide that. Workers each had separate offices with the adequate amount of privacy. In addition to comfort, i search for good pay. All of the workers in the AB Invest receive a sufficient salary that they are satisfied with. The company focuses more on life and annuities Sales. Employee's Anis Blemur CEO Anis Blemur is the founder of the organization "AB Financial". He have been doing this for 25 years and going, Anis is currently 51 years old. Within his organization, he does taxes, insurance, real estate, Mortgage and much more. He is a teacher, mentor, and a friend. Currently in law school, which shows you that it is never to late to learn. COO Naomi Blemur COO Naomi Belmur, is the coo(chief operating officer) of AB Financial, and also Anis Blemur's Wife. Naomi is the one who is in charge of the whole office and make sure that everything is running smoothly. She also take care of all the financial part of the business as well as the emotional part. She is a beautiful strong black woman. General Supervisor David Santiago Averbach David, is the general supervisor. He makes sure that every employe and customer that comes through the door is happy. Because of what type of office that we have and the fact that we do real estate and insurance, he is always on the go meeting with clients. Office Manger Camille Cesar Camille is the Office Manager, she is the face and image of the office, Camille is the one that welcome our customer with her bright big smile at the front desk. She have knowledge about everything that is going on in the office, because if a customer were to ask her any question regarding what AB Financial offers, she will be able to answer. Other Employee's Of course we don't only have four employee's but everyone else who work at AB Financial is considered an agent. They are considered an agent because of what they do. For example: Tax, Insurance, Real Estate, and Mortgage. Most of these employee's are not at the office 24/7 but the office is like a home to them that they come and take care of business. Other Employees Love-Darlie Antenord(Myself) The reason I chose to work or do my internship at AB Financial is because I have been going there for a little more then 4 years and saw that it is an environment that I would like to work at one day. It was a very nice experiment and through it, I learned a lot. I learn about doing taxes, selling insurance, how to cater to a customers need, answer a phone properly, and much more. Something that I will not be able to learn anywhere else. They took me under their wings and I was treated as family and learn a lot from them.
