Solution Architecture Architecture & Planning A key activity in solution develop is to understand the people, processes, and technology being impacted with the new solution. The process analyst is engaged to document the current state to capture this information and note any high level requirements. Opportunities For Improvement (OFI) OFIs are captured and reviewed with the business to be prioritized and further explored to define the problem and identify the project(s) to make the improvement. Project work efforts from across the business areas are coordinated by the BRM with the business sponsor and placed on the technology projects roadmap. The BRM then brokers the business and IT alignment and communication around this effort throughout its lifecycle. Technology Projects Roadmap Process Analysis The BAR will then engage a solution architect to look for solutions to a specific project. During this analysis we can identify if the item can be resolved with a simple request or reporting an issue to a support team, would require a change to an enterprise system, would be a significant work effort to be delivered as a project, or is something that ITS currently doesn't do and requires executive agreement to start providing.
