Holy Land
Transcript: Jerusalem When arriving to the Holy Lands many begin to sing and dance. Places they visit are historical churches and building significant to their religion. After the pilgrimage For most Christians, a pilgrimage to the Holy Land is a life-changing and challenging experience. The affects of the journey are Bible readings that come alive and have new meaning. Following the return of the pilgrimage, most people are happier, more peaceful and deal better with life situations. Background Info Bethlehem Christians go on pilgrimages to the Holy Land (located in a segment of the middle east) to become more connected with the birth, life, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Holy Land is where Jesus lived, proclaimed his Gospel, performed miracles, was crucified and rose from the dead. Towns visited by Jesus are the sites frequently traveled to; which include Siden, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Emmaus, Jericho, and many more. The travelers walk to many religious monumental sites while on the pilgrimage. Preparation for this journey would be reading scripture passages relating the sites being visited.
