Aim -More power, farther driving ability -Better motor control -More body awareness -Have to look good in the polo Common Issues Common Issues Everything But Actually, Hips, Shoulders, Ankles, Strength Joint by Joint What are the root causes of the issues at hand? Training Sequence Sequence Think about the way you learned math 1) You are always trying to solve the problem All roads need to lead back to the goal. 2) You have to follow an order of operations. Keep It Simple KISS No need to reinvent the wheel. But you should know some wheels drive better than others. Performance/Functional/Mindful Training> Back and Bi's Chest and Tri's Top Training Needs -Golf is different -Rotational Athletes/Transverse Plane -Strength is king but has to be applied appropriately Training Needs Warm Up Warm Up 5-10 minutes Bring up tissue temperature Coat the joins in sinovial fluid Prepare the body for the movement it is going to encounter Power Power Rotational Power Comes in all shapes and sizes-Medballs, Hops, Jumps, Skips Progressions, Regressions, Lateralizations Perscription 3 sets 3-6 reps 7 Foundational Movement Patterns Strength -Squat/Hinge -Horizontal/Vertical Push/Pull -Anti Rotation/Flexion/Extension/Lateral Flexion Conditioning Do not make it too complex -Walk -Bike Ride (Steady Pace) -Sprint Conditioning Nutrition Nutrition Just kidding There are no secrets The real stuff -Calories In/Calories Out -Does not matter how you slice that pie -Make it sustainable -80/20 Rule Thank you!
