I am currently putting in applications into universities who are accredited by the MFTPA. That is important because they are the group whom I will be licensed through. I am also practicing my GRE. It is required by a majority of schools for Master Degree acceptance. In another 2 1/2 yrs I will have my Masters in Marriage Family Therapy. Then I will apply for my license from the counseling board in Georgia and pass the national certification exam given by the National Board for Certified Counselors. To help get my dream started; researched that is would take anywhere from $20,500 to $30,000. There are loans and grants that I can apply for. My Practice... If your shadow is shorter than you, UV exposure is high and precautions are necessary. • Wear hats with at least a 6-centimeter (2.4-inch) brim, so your neck, ears, eyes and scalp are covered. • Use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 30 or higher to protect sensitive skin. • Avoid going out into the sun during peak afternoon hours or wear long-sleeve shirts and pants. The Sun and UV Rays

Transcript: The stratosphere contains the ozone layer which was formed when water vapor drifting to the Earth's upper atmosphere was chemically broken down by sunlight into oxygen and hydrogen gases. These hydrogen gases escaped into space because they were lightweight. The oxygen gases combined with each other resulting in the formation of ozone. A molecule of ozone contains 3 oxygen atoms joined together resulting in a layer of ozone forming in the stratosphere. Even on an overcast day, 30% - 60% of the sun's rays can penetrate the Earth. The Earth's atmosphere protects us from overexposure to UV rays. It is smart to wear a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses to protect yourself from harmful UV rays. The peak time for sun exposure is 10:00 am - 4:00 pm To absorb 85% of rays, you can protect your skin with SPF 15. The sun gives off energy that we can and cannot see. These are represented through light and UV rays. If the UV Index Value is 10+, people will be advised to stay indoors as much as possible. Decreasing levels of the ozone will increase the risk of skin cancer. The Sun and UV Rays Ultraviolet radiation can cause blindness and cataracts in the eyes.

Our data proved our hypothesis correct because the sunscreen changed the amount of waves passed through our clear sheet. For example; the sunscreen blocked the high intensity waves from reaching the sensor. We believe this happened because sunscreen is manufactured to block out high intensity waves.
