Transcript: Student life is very important when choosing a college. Ultimately, you want to be happy where you are. You don't want to be miserable on top of having to do a ton of college work! Music Performance is practicing your skills on stage, singing songs, in front of people! I've been singing since I was five years old, been in several choirs, and I still need to practice stage presence. Financial Aid Music Therapy Music Therapy is used mostly with children who have suffered severe trauma, or are currently going through something traumatic or life-changing, such as cancer. Cleveland State University Conclusion Cleveland State University is an urban university located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1964. In that first year, the University acquired the buildings, faculty, staff and programs of Fenn College, a private institution of 2,500 students, and the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law merged with CSU in 1969. This is why I believe that CSU is the college for me. Green and white are Cleveland State's colors. Cleveland State's mascot is the viking. There are 13 different scholarships that CSU gives to incoming freshmen. Some of them include, but are not limited to, Athletic Scholarships Voyager Scholarship The Richard Eaton Scholarship Freshman Scholars award, etc. I am attending CSU for a Dual Major of Music Performance and Music Therapy. I have been involved with music since 5 at the least. I just recently became interested in Music Therapy because of my little cousin who, at the age of 5, got cancer. Her favorite thing to do while she was stuck in the hospital was to go and visit her music therapist. Why CSU? Cleveland State University The biggest reason I chose CSU was because of their price. But its more than that. I get to take Baldwin Wallace music classes but pay CSU's lower cost. Other reasons include being close to home. History 2.3 GPA 16 on the ACT 770 on the SAT 4 years/units of English 3 years/units of Math 3 years/units of Natural Sciences 3 years/units of Social Sciences Financial aid is money that can be used to help bridge the gap between your own resources and the amount of money needed to pay the cost of attending college. Approximately 70 percent of CSU's students receive some form of financial assistance. The University participates in or administers all of the major federal and state grant and loan programs. In addition, CSU provides University grants and scholarships. Minimums Scholarships Colors and Mascot Student Life Music Performance
