Transcript: What would it take for you to go? Perhaps we simply have missed that we were created to advance the name of God throughout the whole earth, and God redeemed us to fulfill that purpose through us. Perhaps we have forgotten that Jesus told His disciples to wait until the Spirit comes before they start the mission, and the Spirit came and the disciples went. We have the same Spirit in us today, and we have the same mission. Obedience is knowing God encarnationally. We need embasadors who will go and share the teachings of Jesus's kingdom by being an example: Integrity, transparency, solidarity, evangelism, respect for one another, loving others. The Holy Spirit is who drives his mission All physical things are lead by the spiritual choices we make. Smells, time perseption, perspective, values, sensitivity, etc....a few things to adjust. Having a DO NOT JUDGE attitude is the key Learning to be a Learner of Culture God is at work in this Culture privious to our arrival To be Christ to them is to be encarnational Mission is one of God's attributes He is the only one with Authority Knowing his will is transfromation Sin of Omission Proclamation starts with small steps "Here I am. Send me" (Isaiah 6:8) Where? - Culture Matters From the Why and the What then we must work our way to the where and how....get ready. Write in your journal, blog, or pictures what you are feeling, thinking, and wanting for God to bring in this trip. DO NOT forget to Pray, Fast, pray again, and pray one more time... Encarnation... In him we live and move and have our being... (Acts 17:28) THIS CAN BE YOU!!!!! Keep Records In Acts 13 the church responded to the sending nature of God himself, specifically the Spirit of God: "As they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work that I have called them to'" (v. 2). So the church in Antioch sent them out. They had fasted, they had prayed, they had laid their hands on them, then they sent them out. The church was and is an agent of God's sending. As a part of the church, we must fully embrace God's strategy for His mission as the church sends us on mission. Building his Mission needs you Perhaps... You are an Embasador. Building Blocks I'm just sayin' Who are you? What? - Knowing God. It is fun to be Jesus to Others We do not live in a vacum, the church belongs to one another: * Prayer * Local Sending Church * Parents & Relatives * Journal or Blogging * Rest & Prepare Why? Healing & Community The Word became a man and lived among us. John 1:14 YES!!! You.

Transcript: Examples: Two specific examples of Proteins are, Actin and Myosin Digestive Issues : You may experience constipation if you follow a high protein diet for longer than a suggested 2 months. Although this isn't the cause of digestive problems, it leaves out any space for some other foods that are much better for your health. Building Blocks What is it made of? Proteins are made of amino acids, joined together in chains. There are 20 different amino acids. What are the elements? The elements are hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon. Proteins are known for making muscle tissue, but they also serve many other functions. What's the monomer? The monomer that makes up protein is amino acid. Impact on Health How does too much protein effect us? Digestive Issues Disease Risk Weight Gain Examples and Function Functioning as a pair they form microfilaments which give mechanical support to the cells and hardwire the cytoplasm. Supply Where can we get it from? We get protein from various foods like meat, fish, chicken , milk products, soy bean, eggs, salads etc. How do we get it? Proteins are ingested is most typically after exercising. Dietary protein ingestion immediately after exercise increases muscle protein synthesis rates during the acute stages of post-exercise recovery. Where is it made? Proteins are made by the endoplasmic reticulum by the rough endoplasmic reticula. Actin - is a protein that functions in the contractile system of skeletal muscle, where it is found in the thin filaments. Actin is present in all eukaryotes and has a highly conserved protein sequence. Myosin - comprise a family of ATP-dependent motor proteins and are best known for their role in muscle contraction and their involvement in a wide range of other eukaryotic motility processes.

Building Blocks

Transcript: Have all the wooden blocks and beams already arranged and organized in their own bin. Allow children to create ramps throughout the classroom in all sorts of unusual ways. Have them roll the ball down the ramps. Ask engaging questions, "Which direction do you think the ball will roll? Which block is heavier? If I add one more block to this tower, will it fall down?" "Does this block take up more space than the others?" Activity- "Big City Building" Activity- "Let's Build a Zoo" Game Die Many blocks (can be any size & shape) Children will roll a game die, Next they will determine that amount and count out that many wooden cubes to stack into a tower. The die is rolled again until everyone has taken a turn. Blocks Plastic Animals Poster Markers Prekindergarten children sort and classify objects using one or more attributes. They begin to use attributes of objects to duplicate and create patterns. Since blocks come in many different shapes, sizes and colors, they are the perfect manipulative to use when teaching basic math concepts. Compare and contrast the attributes of each piece. Encourage preschoolers to learn math skills through block play, http://myiearlychildhoodreflections.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-about-balls-and-ramps.html http://everydaylife.globalpost.com/importance-block-play-preschool-children-10183.html Science! Building Blocks Some scientific lessons to introduce to preschoolers through the use of blocks are cause and effect, experimentation, and hypothesis. Investigate their answers thoroughly while experimenting trial and error. This helps them become familiar with balance, weight, spatial awareness and gravity through hands-on play. Purpose Materials Needed: Math! Wooden blocks Ball Long beams Activity-"Block Builders" After the book is read, the students will build their own zoo using the blocks and plastic animals. The poster will be used as the "ground" where they can draw a zoo-like environment. Activities The Importance of Pre School Block Play Materials Needed: Materials Needed: Children learn best through hands-on experiences, and block play is a valuable part of cognitive development in preschoolers. Children piece together shapes to create a bigger picture, whether pure imagination or a representation of something they have seen. Exploring with blocks also nurtures an understanding for math, science, and language. Whether the shapes are colored, paper boxes, snap-together or wooden, they enhance children's learning activities! At the preschool age, children are learning to develop their use of language. New experiences with blocks and towers encourage stringing sentences together using larger vocabulary and in-depth thought processes. Encourage children to use adjectives such as "humongous" and "sturdy" as opposed to simpler words like "big" and strong. Asking open-minded questions about their design inspires new ideas, while nurturing confidence in creativity. Literacy! Science! Resources:
