The aim, according to the chain, is "to give home makers the power to save the most and even the stores in the city don a fresh look to make customers feel that it is their day". Maha Bachat Payback cards Strategy of the company Environmental studies Schemes and Innovations Big Bazaar does not produce but sources from outside. As mentioned earlier, it is in retail business. Other than designing and manufacturing of clothes at FBB, Big Bazaar produces nothing but buys from other companies. Every item of every brand, known or unknown is available there. By known companies, we mean the ones of which we have very well heard and are heavily promoted and advertised. And by the unknown companies, we mean small companies which do not advertise and very few have heard of them but they exist, and Big Bazaar helps them to exist by providing them a platform, a market to sell their products in. About the founder About Big Bazaar Big Bazaar directly negotiates with other brands and vendors and places orders for bulk. This bulk buying creates a big margin which instead of going in the company’s pockets as extra profit, goes to the consumer’s pocket as savings. 3-C theory According to Kishore Biyani's 3-C theory, Change and Confidence among the population is leading to rise in Consumption, through better employment and income. Big Bazaar has divided India into three segments: • India one: The Consuming class which includes upper middle and lower middle class (14% of India's population). • India two: The Serving class which includes people like drivers, household helps, office persons, liftmen, and washermen (55% of India's population) and • India three: The Struggling class (31% of India's population). The media campaign was developed by Mudra Communications. Fashion Big Bazaar (FBB) FBB is a new line started by Big Bazaar. Future Group used to sell fashion through Pantaloons but now it has separated. Now that Future Group Holds only 24% shares of Pantaloons, FBB is their main focus.
