Transcript: If you are a writer, you might be struggling with getting your writing noticed. If this is a problem for you, online publishing might be the miracle you've been waiting for! It's easy, fast, (in this presentations' case) free, and you can get your writing seen by many people. Even if you aren't a writer, it's still great to read writing written by people your age. This presentation will show you four free writing websites I personally recommend. Widbook is a seriously legit (haha my use of wording :P) writing website. You can follow writers you like, and ask to collaborate with them on your own project. Widbook allows you to upload writing from your computer as well. It is very well organized, but does take some fiddling and getting used to. The site itself is very detailed. One whole category is titled "My Bookshelf" where you can put books from your favorite writers on for quick browsing. Widbook provides just as many tools for their readers as they do their writers. I like this writing website, but it can be distracting if you really just want to write. Booksie Screenshot: Website No. 3 : Wattpad.com Wattpad was actually the first writing website I ever used. It is very user-friendly; all of the subjects of writing are categorized at the top and you can quite easily scroll through stories and genres. I really like this website; It has the simplicity Widbook lacks and better over-all web design than Booksie. I would highly recommend this site if you want to easily write and read without distractions but easy navigation options. Intro: Reader or Writer? Website No. 1: Booksie.com Booksie is a very simple writing website. You quite basically write and publish whatever you're working on. I personally don't like this website; it isn't that authenic or nice to look at (which is kind of important to me) and the actual published writing on it isn't very interesting either. However, this website is a good place to start if you aren't feeling very dedicated to what you're working on. Out of these four writing website options I have shown you, Figment is my personal favorite. It is simple and easy to use, and the web design is really amazing to look at. It's great to read and write from. I have found really admirable writers on Figment. There is this cool feature for rating stories that is also unique to this site.
