It has caused a lot of problems so that I have been sick my whole life...finally when I was 25 when I was diagnosed. Introduction Is an autoimmune reaction to wheat, barley, rye, or malt. It can cause intestinal damage unless a person with this condition obstains from eating food containing these things.
